1. Who operates PalSpire
PalSpire (www.palspire.com) is a Discord-connected dashboard and public server-profile site for self-hosted Palworld game servers. Questions about this policy or your cookie choices can be sent to [email protected] [placeholder — confirm this mailbox exists before publishing].
2. What this policy covers
PalSpire only uses browser cookies for the purposes below. We do not use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, service workers, tracking pixels, or any third-party advertising, analytics, or session-replay scripts anywhere on the site — this was verified directly against the deployed code on October 12, 2026, not assumed.
3. Necessary and optional purposes
Every cookie PalSpire sets today is Strictly Necessary: it keeps the site working and remembers your cookie choice. PalSpire does not currently set any Functional, Analytics, or Marketing cookies. If that ever changes, the new cookie will be added to the table below, assigned to the correct category, and you'll be asked for permission before it is set — it will not retroactively use this policy as blanket permission.

5. Accepting, rejecting, and changing your choice
On your first visit, a banner explains that PalSpire only uses necessary cookies today. Use Cookie Settings — available in the footer of every page — at any time to review this policy or re-open the preference panel. Because there is nothing optional to turn on right now, there is nothing to "withdraw"; if an optional cookie is ever added, the same panel will let you turn it off at any time, and PalSpire will stop setting it and clean up what it can from your browser.
6. Third-party connections and embeds
- Discord OAuth login. Clicking "Discord login" sends you to discord.com to sign in; Discord then redirects back to PalSpire with your authorization. Discord's own cookies on its own domain are outside PalSpire's control — see Discord's cookie and privacy policies for that part of the flow.
- Discord avatar images. If you're signed in, your profile picture is loaded directly from
cdn.discordapp.comso PalSpire can show your real Discord avatar. This is an image request, not a cookie, and only happens for accounts that have signed in. - Interactive map. The live map embedded on server profile pages is PalSpire's own page, loaded from palspire.com in an iframe — it is not a third-party embed and does not set any additional cookies.
- Outbound links. Some dashboard pages link out to Pocketpair's official Palworld server documentation (docs.palworldgame.com). These are plain links you choose to click, not embeds, and PalSpire does not share any data with that site.
PalSpire's "Player Tracking" and live-map dashboard features show in-game Palworld character positions and stats pulled from your own dedicated server's REST API. That is game-world data about your Palworld server, not browser cookie tracking of your visit to this website, so it sits outside the scope of this Cookie Policy — see the Privacy Policy for how that data is handled.
7. Your browser controls
Every modern browser lets you view, delete, or block cookies through its settings. Blocking the palspire_session cookie will sign you out and prevent Discord login from working; blocking palspire_consent means the cookie banner will reappear on every visit. Clearing cookies does not reach anything Discord itself has stored on discordapp.com.
8. Privacy choice signals
PalSpire does not sell or share personal information and does not run targeted advertising, so there is currently no sale/share or targeted-advertising opt-out to honor. PalSpire still detects the Global Privacy Control browser signal where sent and shows its status in the Cookie Settings panel as a transparency measure.
9. Changes to this policy
This is the first published version of PalSpire's Cookie Policy (October 12, 2026). If PalSpire's cookie use changes materially — for example, if an analytics or marketing integration is added — this page and the notice/purpose version used by the consent panel will be updated, and returning visitors will be asked for a fresh decision.
