Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of PalSpire (www.palspire.com) and the PalSpire Discord bot (together, the "Service"). By signing in with Discord, connecting a game server, or otherwise using the Service you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms; material changes take effect on the date shown above, and continuing to use the Service afterward means you accept them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age Discord requires in your country, if higher) and able to form a binding agreement. If you accept these Terms for a community or organization, you confirm you have authority to do so.

3. Not affiliated

PalSpire is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc. or Pocketpair, Inc. "Discord" and "Palworld" and related names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe what the Service works with.

4. Accounts and Discord login

Sign-in is provided through Discord. You are responsible for activity under your Discord account and for keeping it secure. Your use of Discord is governed by Discord's own terms and policies.

5. Server managers: your responsibilities

If you connect a Palworld server or configure the PalSpire bot for a Discord community, you represent and agree that:

• you own the server or are expressly authorized by its owner to connect it, and to enter its REST API credentials;
• you will only enter the address of a game server you control — you will not point PalSpire at third-party systems, internal networks you do not own, or any address you are not permitted to contact;
• PalSpire collects in-game information about the players on your server (such as player names, levels, guild names, ping, and world positions over time, and the IP addresses your server's API reports, which are visible to managers on the Raw Data page). You are responsible for having a lawful basis for that collection and for giving your players any notice or obtaining any consent that applicable law requires, including telling them that their in-game name, level, and position may be shown publicly on your server's PalSpire profile and map;
• you will disable monitoring or world-actor tracking if your players object or the law requires it; and
• you will not use tracking data to stalk, harass, threaten, dox, or discriminate against any person.

6. Public profiles

Active servers appear in the public directory. A server's name, description, status, performance statistics, and (when game-data tracking is enabled) player names, levels, guild names, and live map positions are visible to anyone without signing in. Managers control this by turning monitoring off in the server's API settings.

7. Acceptable use

You will not: break the law or others' rights; interfere with or overload the Service; scrape it at a rate that degrades it; probe or test its security without permission; circumvent access controls; use the Service to attack or scan other systems; or reverse engineer it except where law allows. We may rate-limit, suspend, or remove any server or account that violates these Terms or puts the Service or others at risk.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of content you provide (for example, a server name and description). You grant PalSpire a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process that content to operate and promote the Service, including on public pages. You confirm you have the right to provide it and that it does not infringe or violate anyone's rights.

9. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on PalSpire infringes your copyright, send a notice containing the details required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to [email protected] [placeholder — replace with the registered DMCA agent contact before publishing]. We remove content that is the subject of a valid notice and may terminate repeat infringers.

10. Third-party services and game data

The Service depends on Discord and on the Palworld REST API of each connected server, which we do not control. Game data is shown as reported by those sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Do not rely on it for any safety-, security-, financial-, or enforcement-critical decision.

11. Changes and availability

PalSpire is provided free of charge and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time without notice. We do not guarantee any level of uptime or that data will be retained.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some places do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of this may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PalSpire and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or game progress, arising from or related to the Service, even if advised of the possibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify PalSpire and its operator against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your connected servers, your failure to give players required notices or obtain required consents, or your breach of these Terms.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by signing out and, for connected servers, turning monitoring off. We may suspend or terminate access at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PalSpire's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to use your local courts.
